Overview
The school aims at providing a very high standard of education and many features of modern school of repute have been introduced in the school. The school is a co-educational English medium school following the curriculum of CBSE, New Delhi. Assamese, Hindi and Sanskrit are offered as second/third languages up-to class X. The school houses classes from Lower Kindergarten (LKG) to the Senior Secondary Level (Class XII). It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The Commerce department was started in
SBOA Public School in the year 2010 with 40 students. However, this department saw an upliftment with introduction of Entrepreneurship as an optional subject from 2012. The Commerce Stream is backed up by a team of very dedicated and experienced facilitators.

Humanities SBOA family is now preparing the 8th batch for Humanities in class XII for the upcoming AISSCE Examination in 2019. Humanities Stream of SBOA Public School began in the year 2009 with core Subjects like English, History, Economics, Political Science, Geography

The students of current Class-XI batch have obtained greater optional subjects like History / Economics and Mathematics / Informatics Practices / Geography.
